About Wildland

Wildland is a landscape design studio dedicated to restoring habitat for people and wildlife. Our work is rooted in a simple idea: when a garden is thoughtfully designed, it invites you to slow down, observe nature, and cultivate more joy.

Every project starts with getting to know your landscape—what’s already growing, how the light moves, and the rhythms of the space. From there, we design gardens that balance beauty and function, with places to rest, gather, and entertain. Our plant palette prioritizes California native and climate-appropriate species, creating landscapes that are resilient, water-wise, and vibrant with seasonal change.

About Lily

Wildland was founded by Lily Cameron, a landscape designer who loves helping people feel more connected to their outdoor spaces. She has studied landscape design at Merritt College, College of Marin, and the Ruth Bancroft Garden, and holds a Bachelor of Arts from UC Berkeley.

She is also the author of Simply Sustainable, where she explore how living with less waste creates more beauty and intention at home.
